Back in the early ’90s, a group on alt.sex.bondage decided to meet offline at a burger joint in Palo Alto, California. The result was the first “”Burgermunch””, later shortened to “”munch””.* Since then, the munch has become a mainstay of alternative sexuality communities, often serving as the entry point for many newcomers.
