Two-Way Tying is a new approach to bondage created by Rough Mercies that facilitates high-energy, aggressive play. Unlike most shibari, Two-Way Tying uses both ends of the rope simultaneously and employs a unique collection of moves to fix and stabilize the wraps. Radical variations on classic harnesses are combined with sling-like “open loops” and “rope chains” to open up novel approaches to suspension.
This class is great for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Anyone who wishes to tie will NEED one or two lengths of 50-foot rope. 45-foot lengths (which can be created from 1 30-foot plus 1 15-foot rope) is adequate for petite bodies, and 60-foot lengths should be procured for larger bodies.
