Volunteer
NOTE: If there are any TES members who are currently volunteers, or who were volunteers in the recent past, who may want to express any problems they are having, or have had in the past, please contact the Volunteer Committee at volunteer@tes.org. The Volunteer Committee is one of the most important committees of TES. This is because The Eulenspiegel Society is a volunteer based organization, form the Board of Directors, to the editors of our magazine, to the programming staff to those who set up and maintain our venue, they are all volunteers. As a result, it is the goal of the Volunteer Committee to recruit, retain and reward our volunteers, making sure they are matched to a job that fits their skill sets, interests and abilities. The Volunteer Committee also seeks to address any problems of any volunteer, regardless of committee, in order to maintain a strong and cohesive volunteer base.
The Volunteer Committee needs intelligent, innovative people who can think outside of the box, and work independently. We need ideas on how to reward our hard working volunteer staff, how to recruit more staff,and how to keep those who already give of themselves. We're the people at
the door at TES meetings who take your money and set up the room. We really need people. The advantages of doing this are that you get to meet

VICE CHAIR OF FINANCE
People with hands on knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping for a non-profit organization or other large organization are strongly encouraged to apply as are those with a background in accounting or finance. You must be a TES member to apply. All candidates will be interviewed by the current chair of the Finance Committee. If you feel this is a position you'd like to volunteer for, please read the info below and contact tes@tes.org
Vice Chair of Finance Duties
1 - The Vice Chair of Finance shall be responsible for cash operations of
Finance. The duties shall include picking up all cash at the end of TES
parties and other events if the chair is not available.
The Vice Chair shall be responsible for depositing the cash as soon as practical.
2 - The Vice Chair of Finance shall assist in charging credit cards
for all TES events and memberships and report processed charged to the
appropriate chairs (Treasury, Membership, Socials, etc) as well as
contact individuals whose credit card charges were denied and follow up.
3 - The Vice Chair of Finance will chair a committee on fund raising activities to
look for new streams of revenue.
4 - The Vice Chair of Finance will be responsible for ordering, purchasing, receiving
and storing (supplies, equipment etc) all items for TES as well as distribution - including NYC condoms and lube, bulk printing and other items as needed
