Prometheus is a TES' members-only electronic magazine exploring alternative
sexuality expressed through dominance and submission, sadomasochism, role-play,
power exchange, and fetish. Each issue provides
a scintillating mix of fact, fiction, and opinion, adorned by sophisticated
graphics, photography, and artwork.
Among our contributors
you'll find the top rank of artists, photographers, writers, and authorities
in the scene, all of whom share our philosophy that the intellect is
intimately connected to the libido. We strive to appeal to a diverse adult audience regardless of gender, orientation,
preference, style, or viewpoint, and with respect for all. Uninhibited, uncensored,
uncompromising, Prometheus is serious about your pleasure.
Prometheus' non-fiction
includes media reviews, accounts of personal experiences, how-tos, consumer
reports, coverage of leather events large and small, columns, advice, essays,
and fact-based articles on specific topics. Fiction and poetry range from
literary erotica to explicit porn, from fantasy to humor.
TES membership is not a
requirement to submit written material, artwork,
or photography. Writers wishing to submit material should review our guidelines. Artists and photographers should review our required instructions for submitting their work.
For legal reasons, volunteers
working on the magazine must be TES members. Prometheus is always looking
for dedicated staff in all capacities from HTML layout to codyediting,
from contributor relations to art director.
As Prometheus is an all-volunteer
effort, neither volunteers nor contributors can be paid for their efforts,
though volunteers receive valuable experience working on a top-notch publication
plus mentoring from experienced staff members, and contributors whose submissions
are accepted find a premiere showcase for their work.

work to be considered for publication or to volunteer to work on the magazine,
