ONLINE – Scene Negotiations with Transgender Partners 101 with Skullpup

An informative 101 style class with the main focus being education about gender identity/sexuality and guidelines for negotiating scenes with trans individuals. This class is good beginner level introduction for people who may feel uncomfortable or less informed around the topic.

Key points within the presentation are:

• “Why does this matter?”
• A guide to some commonly used language surrounding gender identity and transition – Definitions are provided for things such as Cisgender, AGAB, Femme/Masc, etc.
• Explaining the different types of gender identity and presentation – Binary Gender vs. Gender on a Spectrum
• Defining sexuality and how gender presentation/identity can affect a scene
• A more trans-inclusive guide for negotiating play – A do’s and don’t list with a quick reference guide/checklist for future personal use

“Awkward Question Time”: An additional time period for individuals to be able to ask appropriate questions in person/write-in ahead of time that they may feel could be deemed as awkward/offensive.

Chuck [He/They] is a switchy transmasc nonbinary person who has been active in the community since 2016. They have a passion for LGBTQ+ education and informing others on intersectional issues that affect us all. Feel free to ask any appropriate questions you may have!
