ONLINE – TES presents: Keeping Secrets: Managing Your Kink Online

From Fetlife and Facebook to emails and tweets, how do you keep your private life private. While we use the internet every day, we often don’t really think about all the ways our activities leave a trail that could lead to your privacy being violated or being outed publicly. The Internet is a big ball of technology that can be overwhelming, this class is not about that , we will not be going int to things is not about firewalls ,security protocols and hiding from big data, rather, it’s a conversation about managing your privacy and internet activity. We’ll run through how some of the most popular social media sites work and where there are potential trouble points , by walking through real life examples of being outed by digital communications, to ways of keeping your kink and vanilla separate, and have time to address your questions and concerns.

RiggerJay is a Canadian born Baltimore based rope enthusiast who is often seen with rope in hand and a camera over the shoulder. After finding a copy of Lee Harrington’s “Shibari You Can Use”, his passion for rope and kink was born. From there RiggerJay became very active in his local rope scene running local events as well as helping on-line communities. His goal is to spread that same passion to others! Beyond, rope, RiggerJay’s passion is photography, coming full circle and blending both skills, RiggerJay did the photography for the latest version of Shibari You can Use (the book he first learned rope from) as well as More Shibari You can Use.
